Desso PR - London's Largest Living Room
Challenge
To raise the profile of Desso with the architectural and design fraternity..
Solution
Through the development of key contacts for Desso, an opportunity arose to participate in the London Festival of Architecture, working with Design for London.
With creative direction by Gerrard O'Carroll of the RCA, London's Largest Living Room played host to the opening of the Festival at Somerset House which was launched by London's Mayor Boris Johnson and transformed this public space for three days. It was an event for opinion formers, LFA participants and media.
Result
The event was a great success and Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, described the installation as 'funkapolitan'. Brand awareness was delivered through signage, publicity materials and press coverage including a double page spread in the Evening Standard and editorial in The Telegraph and Metro.
All product used was also donated to a homeless charity to minimise on any waste.
