Parklife opens on Oxford Street

Parklife Oxford Street is the name that The Think Tank has given London’s most exciting event space. For the first time in 50 years an event space has been created on Oxford Street, directly opposite Selfridges.

This blank canvas space has already held events for Fiat and the England Beach Football Team in conjunction with the launch of the Disney XD channel.

Fiat displayed a ten metre high Fiat 500 car which the public could travel through in an interactive experience. The event managed to pull in an average of 10,000 people per day, a fantastic result.

At the same time the other half of the space was covered in 300 tonnes of sand to create a beach football pitch. With the England Beach Football team showing how it is done, children from the Westminster area held a football competition and also broke the record for the biggest Wii game.

Having developed all the branding and marketing for Parklife, The Think Tank is now working on marketing and promoting the next event that will be open to the public in January 2010. You can find out more at www.parklifeoxfordstreet.co.uk.
