Honda’s new animated advert, one of four short films, harks back to their Dream Factory days celebrates the complexity and creativity that goes into filmmaking by merging animation and real life.

Each separate advert features four different Honda models and the campaign, named Dream Makers, harks back to the company’s Dream Factory days.

The short film uses CI skeletons, grading annotations, storyboard sketches and printed scripts, using the creative process as metaphor for the complexity of making Honda Vehicles.

“There’s crazy technology involved in making a film or a Honda nowadays, but it’s ultimately the warmth of the human touch that makes them achieve excellence,” explain creative directors Carlos Alija and Laura Sampedro.
