For the past three decades, Absolut Vodka has collaborated with some of the world’s leading artists and designers to produce pretty stunning advertising. Keith Haring, Romero Britto, Mickalene Thomas… Absolut has had it good.
But now the Åhus-based tipplemaker is opening their creative doors to amateur designers with a global competition that seeks to find the new artistic voice for their brand. Plus, the winner will net a cool £17,500. Cheers!
The brief involves a social-awareness element, with the entrants asked to pick one theme among: gender equality, humanity, freedom of expression, LGBTQ+ rights and environmentalism.
Entries will be assessed by regional creatives, who will decide local winners. The winners from each market will then be part of the global round, whereupon the overall victor will be announced.
