Avery Dennison teamed up with big names in the apparel sector to make it clear that the future of labelling is digital.

Consumers cutting out or not paying attention to care labels directly contributes to clothes ending up in landfill. Avery Dennison needed a way to get the word out to the world about their innovative new digital labels that can help retailers manage supply chains, engage with customers in new and high-tech ways and, most importantly, combat the impact of the apparel sector on the environment.

Our solution

The Think Tank came up with an integrated campaign for Avery Dennison built around one idea: #CareToBeTheChange. Based around the 6 R’s (rethink, refuse, reduce, repair, reuse, recycle), the campaign saw Avery Dennison partnering with brands already blazing a trail in terms of sustainability and circularity.

We produced a series of short videos showcasing the partnership and positioning Avery Dennison as innovators and industry leaders. Brands including Transnomadica, Ambercycle, UpWest and Recircle talked with Avery Dennison executives about the incredible ways textiles can be transformed, given a new lease of life and kept out of landfill.

The results

The videos reached a global audience and put Avery Dennison’s digital labelling solutions in front of consumers, retailers and manufacturers, as well as raising the brand’s profile worldwide.
