The challenge
Portico, a leading guest services provider, sought to raise its brand awareness across London and other major UK cities, particularly within the commercial property industry. To achieve this, The Think Tank developed a strategic plan to position Portico at the heart of discussions on workplace challenges, with the aim of establishing the company as a trusted authority in the field.
Our solution
We implemented a six-month PR campaign, deploying a carefully curated mix of tactics. These included award submissions, news promotion, thought leadership articles, expert commentary in industry features, interviews and case studies.
This comprehensive approach demonstrated Portico’s active role in shaping the “future of the workplace” debate, adding to its credibility and authority within the market.
The results
The campaign resulted in 21 pieces of coverage in top facilities management publications, including Facilitate, Facilities Management, FMJ, and PFM. Notably, over 50% of the coverage was driven by thought leadership and interviews, reinforcing Portico’s position as an industry leader.
Additionally, three out of four award submissions prepared for Portico were shortlisted for prestigious accolades: the IWFM Impact Awards, the UK Employee Experience Awards (Learning and Development category), and the PFM Partnership Awards.
Our earned media efforts garnered over 12,000 views and reached an estimated audience of 225 million, significantly enhancing Portico’s visibility and solidifying its leadership status in the market.
