On 4th November, we’ll be at The Building Centre in London for NBS’s What Specifiers Want: Turning Insight into Specification event, joining construction product manufacturers and industry experts for an afternoon focused on how products are found, considered and specified.
Our Digital Media Director, Ros Rowlatt, and PR Director, Jo Wilmot, will be presenting ‘Building AI visibility for construction brands’, before joining the panel discussion and audience Q&A later in the afternoon.
A changing route to specification
The way people find information about construction products is changing. Alongside search engines, manufacturer websites and product platforms, AI tools are increasingly becoming part of the research process.
That raises a new question for manufacturers: when someone asks an AI tool about products or suppliers in your category, does your brand appear?
That’s what Ros and Jo will explore in their session, looking at AI visibility from both a digital and PR perspective.
Building AI visibility for construction brands
We’ll look at how AI tools find and interpret information about construction brands, what can influence which brands appear in their answers, and what manufacturers can do to improve their chances of being found.
It’s a conversation we’ve been having with many construction brands recently, and one we’re looking forward to continuing with manufacturers at the NBS conference.
Ros and Jo will also join the event’s panel discussion and audience Q&A, alongside the other speakers, giving attendees the chance to explore some of the wider issues raised during the day.
What Specifiers Want: Turning Insight into Specification takes place on 4th November at The Building Centre, London.
