Team-building in a stunning setting
Last Friday, The Think Tank team embarked on our first ever away day at the historic Hever Castle in Kent.
Nestled within over 600 acres of picturesque countryside, the Grade 1-listed castle offered a breath-taking backdrop for a day filled with excitement.
An action-packed day
The day was all about continuing our commitment to nurturing a positive company culture – but there was also a dose of healthy competition…
Our 40-strong party was divided into four teams who each took it in turns to compete at quad biking, a treasure hunt, archery and clay pigeon shooting. With bragging rights on offer, everyone was eager to get stuck in.
Whether we were speeding through rugged terrain on bikes or searching for hidden clues scattered across the castle grounds, every challenge pushed us to think outside the box, work together and, of course, have lots of fun.
Luck was on our side with the weather, too; despite an uncertain forecast, the sun shone brightly all day long.
The winner takes it all
Despite some tough competition across the board, Team 1 emerged as the winners – taking the top spot in 3 out of 4 activities.
But it wasn’t all about the competition. Philippa Read, Creative Designer and leader of Team 1, had this to say on the day’s events:
“Everybody had such a good time on our away day last week. It was a great experience to get to work with new people and try new things – leading Team 1 to victory was the cherry on top! It just goes to show how important strong teamwork is.”
Our day at Hever Castle was a chance for The Think Tank team to properly welcome new faces, discover hidden talents and create memories.
Thanks to all who attended for contributing to a fantastic day out!
