The Think Tank Athletic took part in the PR Cup 2026 on Friday 25th September, joining more than 300 people from 30 PR, communications and marketing agencies to raise money for the Taylor Bennett Foundation.
Held at Powerleague Shepherd’s Bush, the five-a-side tournament brings the PR and communications industry together for a day of football, fundraising and plenty of friendly competition.
All entry fees go towards supporting the Taylor Bennett Foundation and its work to increase ethnic representation in the PR industry.
Led by captain Tobias ‘The Terrier’ Terry, our eight-strong team brought plenty of personality to the pitch:
- Jasmine ‘Boot It’ Brown
- Charlie ‘Wallop It’ Watkins
- Dragana ‘No-Nonsense’ Knezevic
- Ben ‘It’ll Be Alright on the Night’ Wright
- Harry ‘Marathon Man’ Power
- Paul ‘Strike It’ Stroud
- David ‘Twinkle Toes’ Turner
The team made it through to the Plate final after a closely fought day of matches, eventually finishing as runners-up after losing the final by a single goal.
There were some standout moments along the way, including a goal from Jasmine ‘Boot It’ Brown that found the top corner, and a penalty shootout win in the Plate semi-final. Paul ‘Strike It’ Stroud was named our MVP for his performances in goal throughout the tournament.
More importantly, it was a great opportunity to get involved in an event that brings the industry together while supporting an important cause.
