Building on brilliant service
During winter months, the UK timber, panels and décors industry dips into a quiet sales period. Determined to tackle this seasonal slump and build on the success of previous seasonal campaigns, market leading independent distributor James Latham set out to define a bold new marketing strategy.
Positive feedback from a recent customer survey sparked a bright idea. With over 80% of respondents rating the brand an 8/10 or higher for service (and a third giving a perfect 10/10!) there was a clear opportunity to create a campaign around what sets James Latham apart from its competitors: its exceptional customer service.
That’s where The Think Tank stepped in.
A collaborative approach
As James Latham’s PR partner, our task was to spread this message loud and clear to the right audiences.
Tying into a wider multi-channel approach, we implemented a short, sharp yet comprehensive PR strategy. We sprang into action, drafting press releases and promotional content, securing media coverage and placing advertorials in key publications.
In every piece, we refined our campaign copy, tailoring it to each audience segment and amplifying key testimonials that reinforced the brand’s strengths. We also coordinated closely with James’ Latham’s other comms partners, aligning our messaging with digital and social media efforts for maximum impact.
