The challenge

International logistics provider and long-term The Think Tank client Asendia came to us in need of a content-based campaign that would raise the brand’s profile in specific markets, showcasing Asendia’s comprehensive solutions to e-commerce retailers worldwide.

Our solution

We devised a content campaign that included everything a retailer looking to expand into a new market would want to know: local guides, in-depth explanations of customs requirements and regional e-commerce trends and, along with the Ecommerce Foundation, a series of market research reports for the 12 target destinations: the UK, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and USA.

The content was shared using electronic direct mail as well as online advertising through LinkedIn, native advertising and Google Display Network, with smart marketing automation tools helping to collate results and deliver leads.


The results

The campaign has been heralded by Asendia as one of their most effective ever (ever!), with the strongest engagement coming from the UK, Spain and Italy. Plus, the content provides a wealth of resources to continue with nurturing and remarketing activity in the future.
