The challenge
Reds10 had grown rapidly, operating the UK’s largest offsite manufacturing facility and delivering up to 15,000 units a year across defence, education, healthcare, justice, residential and hire sectors. Its outdated website was ready for a new chapter that matched the scale and ambition of the business.
That meant creating dedicated routes for the variety of different buyers Reds10 serves, from defence procurement officers to school facilities managers, where previously a single brand story had to do the work for everyone. It also entailed giving the marketing team a CMS built for active storytelling rather than occasional updates, as well as carefully auditing years of valuable content to decide what should carry forward and what had served its purpose.
The new site also needed to move platforms without losing established SEO equity.
The solution
We started the discovery phase with stakeholder workshops, a review of competitor websites and a full content audit to guide the design and structure of the new site.
From there, we moved into design, creating mobile-first templates built around Reds10’s strong photography assets to create a stylish and accessible site. Our team built custom page templates to flex across different content types.
Development followed, with a custom WordPress build on a secure, scalable architecture capable of handling up to 250,000 monthly visits, with sector filtering and case study showcases built in.
Alongside this, we shaped a content strategy built around tailored narratives and a refreshed messaging framework. Rather than leading with services and burying the sector detail, we built dedicated pathways for each of Reds10’s six sector audiences. Each one spoke directly to its readers, with tailored benefits, case studies and testimonials, while a single brand story about industrialised construction held it all together.
The final phase covered migration and initial SEO, with a full 301 redirect map, refreshed meta data, keyword research and on-page optimisation to protect rankings through the move.
The results
We launched Reds10’s beautifully designed new website on time and on budget. It delivered
20 pages of new content with a clear, intuitive structure that gave each audience its own
route through the site. The build met full WCAG accessibility compliance with mobile-
responsive design throughout, and Google Analytics goal tracking and CRM-integrated
forms gave the team the foundations to measure what mattered from day one.
The result was a digital presence that finally matched Reds10's market position and a platform built to support where the business was going next.
Working with The Think Tank on our website redesign was a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Their commitment to getting it right was genuine and their collaborative approach made us feel like partners throughout the process.
The resulting website has elevated our digital presence and provides a solid foundation that supports our future business direction. I would highly recommend The Think Tank as a thoughtful, skilled and reliable agency partner.
