The challenge
Having earlier executed a comprehensive rebrand for the company, The Think Tank returned for the next stage of the project with a fresh overhaul of Sigma Connected’s website.
The new site would have to echo the rebrand’s empathetic people-first positioning, as well as be more user friendly and appealing.
The solution
Before embarking on the redesign, we thought carefully about the messaging behind the initial rebrand.
The new identity we had established had been all about positioning Sigma as a process outsourcing provider that puts people first by enriching the lives of employees and supporting clients. The key message, ‘We are Sigma Connected, we are different’, was meant to highlight the business’ flexibility, scalability and personal touch.
That in mind, we went about the design. Web page templates were made to compliment the brand guidelines established by the rebrand, including with lively primary accent colours. Also key visual elements were incorporated, such as brightly coloured speech bubbles and the ‘people alphabet’ – stills of Sigma employees posing in letters of the alphabet, lined up to spell out different headlines.
The website also had to reflect Sigma’s different country-specific services, so content was migrated and cross-referenced across separate sites for the UK, Australia and South Africa.
The results
With clean imagery and new brand elements, The Think Tank built a distinctive, user-friendly website that drove home the messaging behind Sigma’s new brand identity and showed of its biggest asset – its people.
